Do you like to eat? If you answer yes, you've come to the right spot. Isla Mujeres has undeniably some of the best dining anywhere. Of course, we have wonderful home style Mexican restaurants as well as beach side seafood restaurants (Sunset Grill), but Isla Mujeres is also somewhat of a culinary melting pot. If the mood strikes you, you'll find great Thai (Bamboo), Italian (Angelo's), French (Bistro Frances) and of course American fare (Jax).
Beyond the standard restaurants you will find street vendors selling tacos, hot dogs, fresh fruit and much more. Many of these vendors sell late into the night. It can become quite an emergency when you cannot find a hot dog stand after a night at La Peña!!
Restaurants here run the gamut in terms of atmosphere. You can find anything from casual snack bar type restaurants to fancy gourmet establishments. Keep in mind that there generally is no dress code. You can still eat at the nicest restaurants in casual attire. If you're so inclined, dress attire is always welcome and can be a nice change from your casual beach attire.
